About Spring Recreational Training

Spring Recreational Training

Beginning in April, EUSA offers a Spring soccer season for both boys and girls, from 4 years old through high school. The Spring season will consist of Kickers instructional training, and practices and games for all of the older Divisions. Practices for all Divisions other than the Kickers program will take place on Wednesday evenings. All sessions and games will take place on Sunday afternoons. All players will be provided a safe and fun environment to learn, practice and play soccer.

Kickers program: EUSA's Kickers program consists of two groups - Little Kickers for four year olds and Big Kickers for five year olds. Our soccer trainers will provide age appropriate drills in small groups for children to learn foot and ball skills. Each session will incorporate 3 vs. 3 or 4 vs. 4 short-sided games allowing the kids to put their skills to use.

Division 4: Children 6-7 years old are assigned to teams and a game schedule at the beginning of the season. The first approximately 20 minutes of each session will consist of warm-ups, stretching and skills training, with the remaining 40 minutes in a game format. Weekly practices will take place for Division 4 on Wednesday evenings, as well. Players learn a variety of age-appropriate skills with the assistance of trainers and coaches.

Divisions 3 & above: Children 8 years and older will be divided into different Divisions based on age and the number of registrations at the beginning of the Spring season. The older Divisions assign players to teams with a game schedule created at the beginning of the season. Weekly practices will take place for the Divisions 3 & above on Wednesday evenings, with games scheduled for Sunday afternoons (one per week). Players in these Divisions improve and enhance their soccer skills through practices and game play with the assistance of trainers and coaches.

For 2022, EUSA will be holding Spring Training outdoors at the Ewing Municipal Soccer Complex.

The Spring season will open on April 20, 2022 with a Wednesday evening practice for the Division 4 and older, and on Sunday, April 24, 2022 for the Little and Big Kickers.
